Poll Kamala Harris replaces Biden in the presidential race. Will you vote for her? (116 votes)

Kamala Harris 62%
Donald Trump 35%
Another candidate 3%

Biden has officially exited the presidential race and will be replaced by Kamala Harris by the democratic party. What your thought on this change? Will it improve the Democratic Party's chances now on the next US presidential election?

Trump, who refuses to renounce self-proclaimed Nazi, now claims he will deport based on "serial number" and doesn't care if the wrong person is put on the deportation bus.

Fucking hell man, why is this a competition.

@Vaasman: Because it turns out the right just likes Nazi policies, unfortunately.

All of them or just some of them?

@horgen: Enough of them to nominate these goons as their presidential/vice presidential candidates.

So presumably a majority of them.

Robinson will probably lose by a double digit margin in November thankfully. I am still amazed he became LT Gov of North Carolina despite all of his baggage.

I'm sure some of them are, but honestly I think a non-Trump outcome is just worse than anything in their minds.

They've gamified politics to the point that their fandom is absolute.

I mean, have you met rabid sports fans? Literal riots have been started over victories and losses. People get punched, stabbed, and killed over petty insults and squabbles.

Extremism is seen as winning, and winning is all that matters to them. Just keep pushing forward even if it is in the wrong direction. "Oh Trump supports nazism? Yeah, well, better than Harris! And I'm pretty sure Democrats kidnap children, so yeah I'm OK with the nazi thing..."

Dude was already a certified rapist and they were OK with that; what's a little fascism, nazism, and racism on top of that?

Next on the list: Nebraska Republicans just failed at a last-minute attempt to change voting rules.

They wanted to change the rules that have existed for 30+ years a few weeks before the election, in a way that would have benefited Trump.

Pretty much it.

It's very indicative of how successful the conservative media and newsfeed has been at poisoning so many people to the extent where Nazis, fascism, and all the things we should be wholeheartedly condemning and eschewing that Trump represents are somehow being viewed as acceptable and preferable. I've no idea how the democrats can be viewed remotely in the same ballpark as these things, much less be seen as worse, but here we sit.

The rise and age of Trumpism is an indictment on Murdoch and his empire, and the years long (decades) culmination of the poisoning of the well. They laid the tinder, Trump lit the match. Only a matter of time before someone as low as Trump would come in and harness that built up toxicity that's been hammered daily into the heads of those who've listened to it.
