Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Premium Preorders Live At Amazon
Microsoft Flight Simulator releases for Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 19.
Xbox Series X|S and PC players can take to the skies later this year, as Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is scheduled to release on November 19. It aims to build on the success of its 2020 predecessor, allowing you to explore the entire planet with over 65 aircraft and 150 airports. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be available for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on day one, and while it's not getting a true physical edition release, there are a few physical bundles with collectibles. The Premium Deluxe Edition with tons of bonus content and an oversized steelbook case is up for preorder for $130 at Amazon and other major retailers.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition
$130
If you want access to as many aircraft and airports as possible, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024's Premium Deluxe Edition needs to be on your radar. It comes with a "jumbo" steelbook case, pilot’s lanyard, a note from the developer, and digital code for the game.
In terms of in-game content, you'll get 95 aircraft and 160 airports. That’s an additional 25 aircrafts and 10 airports compared to the standard edition.
The oversized steelbook case might become the norm for first-party Xbox games. Indiana Jones and The Great Circle's Premium and Collector's Editions--which you can preorder for Xbox or Steam at Walmart--also come with the same style steelbook. Play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on Game Pass
1-month for $17 or 3 months for $45 at Amazon
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass (comes with Ultimate) at launch, and if you’re not interested in the above goodies, this is the cheapest way to give the sim a try. Three-month Game Pass Ultimate digital vouchers are $45 at Amazon, and one-month codes are $17. Considering it would cost $60 for three months or $20 for one month directly through Microsoft, this is a pretty great deal.
Aside from the Premium Deluxe Edition, Microsoft is offering a few other versions of Flight Simulator 2024. This includes the Aviator Edition, which is limited to just 5,000 copies, and the Limited Collector’s Edition, which is even more scarce at just 400 available copies.
If you’re interested in any, be sure to head over to the official Flight Simulator Store to reserve them while you can.
The Aviator Edition includes everything in the Premium Deluxe Edition plus an additional 30 Microsoft-published Marketplace aircraft created between 2021 and 2024. Here’s what’s included with the Limited Collector’s Edition:
- Antonov An-225 Model Plane from Herpa (1/400) on a Hand-Crafted and Numbered Stand
- Custom Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Flight Bag + 6 Flight Patches
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Luggage Tag with Secure Loop
- Platinum-Looking Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Logo Pin
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Key Art Lithograph
- Premium Deluxe Edition (Steelbook, Lanyard)
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Collectible Retail Box
- Message from Developers
You'll also find a standard edition with just the base game and a deluxe edition with 10 extra aircrafts and five extra airports.
