Fortnite My Hero Academia Event Returns With Three New Skins And Lots Of XP
Fortnite is keeping the anime events rolling right along with a second wave of MHA festivities.
Even as a titan of its genre, Fortnite has seemed to find even greater success by collaborating with anime brands, so it's no wonder a second My Hero Academia event is kicking off today in the game. Complete with three new character skins, new and returning themed weapons, and in-game challenges offering battle pass levels, this new event has something for MHA fans and the uninitiated alike. All of that, plus the full patch notes for Fortnite update 26.10 can be seen below.
My Hero Academia skins in Fortnite
Three new skins join the item shop today: Shoto Todoroki, Eijiro Kirishima, and Mina Ashido. Players can find the heroes plus their included alternate styles in the shop alongside the previous event's skins, giving players the chance to complete their collection if they missed some last time.
My Hero Academia-themed supply drops will contain these items, so look for those on your mini-map and claim them before enemies can. Ice Walls can also be found in Fortnite's traditional chests and rare chests, too.
Deku and Todokori Quests
New in-game challenges can be found in the quest log, and players will instantly level up for completing six of them--on top of the XP each doles out, too. That means even before Thursday's Weekly Quests, there are a lot of battle pass levels on offer.
Chapter 4 Season 4 Super Level Styles
As always, the battle pass rewards include Super Level Styles, three flashy variants for five of this season's skins that can be earned starting with battle pass tier 125. This season, the styles are called Heisted Jade, Lost Amethyst, and Yellow Diamond, and you can see some of them below. They're also now visible in-game.
Fortnite 26.10 patch notes
As for fixes, this patch has several of those too. Here are the major fixes you can enjoy from today:
- The Beautiful Bow Emoticon is now back in owners' Lockers.
- Spending Bars by rerolling Reality Augments will now progress the Quests for the Caper and Alias Outfits.
- Swapping weapons while interacting with a Vault Display Case will no longer cause the display case to become impossible to interact with.
- Survivor Medal progress goals will no longer get stuck at 9/10.
- On PC, players will no longer stop auto-running when alt-tabbing out of Fortnite.
- Gyro controls are no longer reversed on Android.
The patch is now live on all platforms that receive Fortnite updates.
