Nintendo is releasing an official Animal Crossing Switch console, which includes pastel green and blue Joy-Cons and a dock featuring the Nooks. Nintendo also confirmed that this particular Switch is the newer model with improved battery life. Separate from this announcement, the company also stated it has "no plans" to release new hardware in 2020.
