The spooky season is almost here, and with it comes the long-awaited remake of Silent Hill 2. A beloved classic from the PS2 era, Bloober Team's take on the survival-horror game is shaping up to do it justice, and if you're looking to get in the right mood for when it arrives on October 8, GameStop has an exclusive Silent Hill 2 merch collection featuring a dozen officially licensed products, including gaming accessories, apparel, and collectibles display on your shelves. Everything in the collection is $60 or less.
On the gaming accessories side of the Silent Hill 2 collection, there's a wireless PC controller with Hall Effect sticks and remappable back buttons for $60. Thanks to the removable faceplate design, you can swap out the Silent Hill cover art for a different look or theme, such as Transformers.
You can pair the controller with a set of red thumbstick grips, either in a $15 set of three pairs or a deluxe set that comes with a necklace. The thumbstick grips are designed for universal use, so you should be able to pop them on your Xbox or PlayStation controller, too.
PC gamers can replace their mouse pad with a 35-inch oversized desk mat priced at only $30. Lastly, the "Welcome to Silent Hill" sign has been immortalized as a $20 universal controller stand. The "universal" theme continues with a $50 wired gaming headset.
For some spooky decorations, check out the Silent Hill 2 Shadow Box for $40 and the Logo Light for $30.
The collection also includes some budget-friendly branded T-shirts and a baseball hat to cover your eyes with when you're scared. And if exploring Silent Hill keeps you up all night, there's a heat-changing coffee mug to help you make it through the day.
We've rounded up the entire collection below. All of the products are exclusive to GameStop, and you'll need to spend at least $59 to get free shipping. If you only pick up one or two of the items, you could push your order over the threshold by preordering the game from GameStop. You can check our Silent Hill 2 preorder guide for all the details on what you get with the standard and digital deluxe editions.
Silent Hill 2 Wireless PC Controller -- $60
The Silent Hill edition of GameStop's Candy Con wireless PC controller features key art from the remake on the front faceplate. The faceplate can be swapped out, and GameStop has some pretty cool designs, including a handful of Transformers 40th anniversary plates for $17 each.
It utilizes Hall Effect analog sticks to prevent drift, has linear adjustable triggers, and includes a pair of mappable back buttons. The controller syncs via Bluetooth and runs for up to 10 hours on a full charge. You can cycle through three rumble intensities and has motion controls.
Silent Hill 2 oversized Desk Mat -- $30
We're living in a golden age of mousepads, and it doesn't get better than this oversized slab of neoprene emblazoned with a creepy Silent Hill nurse on it.
Silent Hill 2 Shadow Box -- $40
This 12" x 7" framed shadow box features an art print of the iconic antagonist Pyramid Head, and he's housed inside of an MDF wooden frame, ready to strike.
Silent Hill 2 Heat-Changing Mug -- $15
That Silent Hill 2 marathon can't be fueled with just enthusiasm alone. This neat heat-changing mug will reveal more of Silent Hill as the temperature rises inside of it, and it can contain up to 14 ounces of your favorite stay-awake juice.
Silent Hill 2 Headset -- $50
Headsets are great for making you feel truly immersed in a horror game, and GameStop has a Silent Hill 2-branded version available to preorder. Like the controller, this is manufactured by Geeknet (owned by GameStop). We can't speak on the quality of these headsets, but at the very least you'll get universal compatibility and a cool-looking piece of gear.
Silent Hill 2 Logo Light-- $30
Fully rechargeable, this desktop light requires no batteries and can be lit at the press of a button. It features the infamous "This town called you" phrase from Silent Hill 2 and it'll add a nice glow to your gaming setup when you start playing. Or you can use it as a night light, in case things get a little too hectic.
Silent Hill 2 Universal Controller Holder -- $20
The Silent Hill 2 Universal Controller Holder has a cool design and should work with any of your PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, or PC controllers.
Silent Hill 2 Pyramid Head T-Shirt -- $20
The first of two exclusive Silent Hill 2 T-shirts available through GameStop, this black garment is downright metal with its print of Pyramid Head, one of the stars of Super Bomberman R.
Silent Hill 2 Cover Art T-Shirt -- $20
For something less nightmarish--but still vaguely unsettling--the white T-shirt featuring the Silent Hill 2 cover art matches the controller.
Silent Hill 2 Pyramid Head Baseball Cap -- $20
Though we doubt the town of Silent Hill has a Lids, GameStop does have a Silent Hill hat. This $20 hat once again celebrates Silent Hill 2 antagonist Super Bomberman R combatant Pyramid Head.
Silent Hill 2 Thumbstick Grips -- $15-$20
This set of thumbstick grips includes three pairs of rubberized grips to add to the Silent Hill 2-themed controller or one of the controllers you already own. You'll also get an exclusive necklace featuring ancient symbols from the game with the deluxe version.
